Set against the backdrop of Albania's social and political transformation in the aftermath of socialism, this tale follows Nertila and her family – the Bulja clan of Northern Albania. After her clash with her previous boss of a criminal enterprise, Nertila and her clan are drawn into political maneuvers intertwined with the occult and the shadows of competing criminal organizations.
