The Evolution of "Dodd"

The Evolution of «Dodd» is a coming of age novel by author William Hawley Smith. Doddridge «Dodd» Weaver is the firstborn son of the Weaver household. But his rebellious streak soon leads to boyhood truancy, much to the chagrin of his parents. He is now seventeen years of age and still not yet received a proper education. But perhaps there is hope for the lad in Mr. Charles Bright, the headmaster of Emburg School, who agrees to take him in.
