A Pastoral Letter to the Parishioners of Frome

This lengthy epistle was written in 1852 by the man appointed vicar to Frome parish church, the Rev William Bennett. In the letter, Rev Bennet expresses his hopes that having been sent for a second time to this parish, he will find unity and not dissent among his parishioners. This is because he had previously been accused of wishing to become a Roman Catholic, and of having some unusual views about Church of England Doctrine.
