A Captain of Industry

A Captain of Industry tells the story of a spoiled son of a corrupt and heartless industrialist, casting aside dreams and imaginations, and dealing with humble reality which lies at the doorsteps. Robbie is a rich and spoiled son of Mr. Robert van Rensselaer, a president and chief stockholder of a vast manufacturing establishment. Robbie is used to getting everything he wants with no regards to moral norms and other people's feelings. He manipulates the stock marker for his own amusement and gain, he destroys companies and people lives without thought for the human consequences. Until one point he gets caught in his own net of lies and frauds.
