Rolf Gloeckner, born in Georgsmarienhütte in 1945, now lives in Oldenburg, is married and has a son with his own family. He is enjoying his well-earned retirement and now devotes his time to astronomy, astrophysics, photography and, of course and above all, writing fantastic stories.
