'Paris Vista' is an autobiography written by Helen Davenport Gibbons. She was an American author best known for her books about France—a country that she spent most of her youth in. From her own words: "Paris is my home city in the sense that I cannot remember first impressions of things in Paris. Of events, yes, and sometimes connected with things, but of things themselves, no. And I am glad of it. My husband did not see Paris until he was twenty, and he learned to speak French by hard work.
