Absolutely love this book! Lots of intrigues, and suspense, unpredictable plot twists, so whimsical and enjoyable. You can say its not like most DWJs books – its so called «adult fiction» (the main characters are in their 20s, and there are topics there like war, murder, and, well, sexual tension) but Diana Wynne Jones amazing humour and style are there! The characters are so relatable – and imperfect – and funny. 100% recommended!
