Немецкий композитор, пианист и педагог Адольф фон Гензельт (1814–1889) был одним из тех, кто стоял у истоков российской фортепианной исполнительской школы. Музыкант воспитал не одно поколение выдающихся музыкантов, среди которых В. В. Стасов, Н. С. Зверев и многие другие. A German composer, pianist, and teacher Adolf von Henselt (1814–1889) was one of the founders of the Russian school of piano performance. He educated several generations of outstanding musicians, among them V. V. Stasov, N. S. Zverev, and many others. This edition includes 12 Études charactéristiques de concert, op. 2, and 12 Études de salon, op. 5.
The collection is addressed to senior pupils of children’s music schools, students of music colleges and higher schools, lovers of piano music.
