Fleeing Charges Of Witchcraft, Young Otter And Her Sami Grandmother Sunna Are Forced To Leave Their Home In Nordmark, Sweden In Spring 1653. By Chance They Meet Up In Gothenburg, Sweden With Otter's Older Half-Brother Elof, Who Is Running Away From His Own Personal Tragedy. The Three Of Them Soon Set Sail For The Small Swedish Volony Located On The South River In The New World.
