"Positions" by Richard Mulcaster is a manual intended for teachers. Mulcaster was himself a headmaster, thus he took educating children very seriously and wished to examine different teaching styles that were being used by teachers. Though teaching methods have changed since its publication, this book is still a fascinating read for those who find themselves interested in the way children are taught.
