A well-known pioneer of dyslexia, professor Tim Miles leads the reader through the fifty years of his research into dyslexia. Tim Miles set up the Bangor Dyslexia Unit in the 1970s, when he was Head of the Department of Psychology. The Bangor Dyslexia Unit has grown steadily ever since and is now a nationally and internationally renowned, specialised Unit. Tim Miles is also founder of the journal Dyslexia and the author of several books on dyslexia. His best known titles include Dyslexia: The Pattern of Difficulties and Dyslexia: A Hundred Years On, co-authored with his wife, Elaine Miles.
