Der Shasekishū ist eine fünfbändige Sammlung buddhistischer Parabeln, die der japanische Mönch Mujū 1283 während der Kamakura-Periode geschrieben hat. Er ist am ehesten für einen Auszug aus den englischen «101 Zen Stories» bekannt. «Sand und Kiesel» ist ihre erste deutsche Übersetzung.
