Mateo had a big dream. He wanted to grow his own vegetable garden. His best friend, a chihuahua named Bimbo, wagged his tail excitedly. Together, they started planning their garden. Mateo drew a map of where each vegetable would go. They decided to plant cabbage, carrots, and tomatoes. It was going to be a lot of work, but Mateo was ready. Bimbo barked in agreement.
Chapter #2
Mateo and Bimbo needed supplies to start their garden. They went to the store with Mateo’s mom. They picked out seeds, soil, and gardening tools. Mateo chose a bright red watering can. Bimbo sniffed around, making sure everything was perfect. They also got some gloves to keep their hands clean. Mateo felt excited as they headed home.
