The Key

This is a fascinating story of Michael Harsch, a Jewish scientist who escaped Nazi Germany and devoted his life to helping the British discover a new explosive that would give a destructive blow to the Germans. Unfortunately, he dies the night after he's finished building his explosive, and Miss Silver is called in to uncover if Michael Harsch died by suicide or was murdered.
