About the book
More people than ever are feeling the need to get out into the countryside and enjoy the space and freedom it offers. For some this is a new experience, for others it is a familiar retreat.
Surrey Landscapes is the first book of its kind to explore the natural spaces of the county through stunning photography, providing not only a greater appreciation of what it has to offer, but also the inspiration for others to enjoy it more. The images take you on a journey through the scenic and seasonal wonders of Surrey, showcasing both the iconic locations with big vistas that attract countless visitors each year and those intimate views that are less well known and off the beaten track.

Each image is accompanied by a title, location and short caption that offers greater understanding of the photograph as well as the countryside through details about the local history, geology or geography.
Foreword: The foreword has been written by one of the world's leading landscape photographers, Charlie Waite. He is a prodigious author, founder of the Landscape Photographer of the Year competition, and founder of the Light and Land photography tour company.
