Who Was Lost and Is Found

The story begins by introducing us to Mrs. James Ogilvy, an elderly woman who resides in the village of Eskholm in Mid-Lothian, Scotland. The older residents of the village hold her in high esteem, as they know her and her family well. Despite being about 60 years old, she is still trim and has bright, animated eyes.
