'In Mesopotamia' is an autobiographical book written by Maurice Nicoll, focusing on the period of his life when he was stationed as a captain in the Royal Army Medical Corps during World War I. Nicoll was a Scottish neurologist, psychiatrist, author and noted Fourth Way esoteric teacher. He is best known for his book 'Psychological Commentaries on the Teaching of Gurdjieff and Ouspensky'.
