My Life as an Author

"My Life as an Author" is an autobiography by Martin Farquhar Tupper, an English writer, poet, and the author of Proverbial Philosophy. He created the first series of «Proverbial Philosophy» in 1837. This work, which spread its author's name worldwide, was met at first with moderate success in England. 1845 Tupper was elected a fellow of the Royal Society. This book gives a rare and interesting insight into the author's life and writings.
