Adventure begins

Once upon a time, in a forest, there was a little bear cub named Benny. Benny was a cute, furry bear with brown fur and bright, sparkling eyes. He dreamed about all the adventures he could have. His mommy bear would tell him stories about the amazing things he could find in the forest.

One sunny morning Benny started his adventure, following a path that led deeper into the forest. The sunlight peeked through the tall trees, creating patterns of light on the ground. Benny followed the winding path, eager to see what awaited him.

A playful squirrel

In the forest Benny came across a playful squirrel. The squirrel had a bushy tail and loved to jump.

Benny was amazed by the way the squirrel could climb so high up the trees.

Benny asked the squirrel, «What do you do all day, dear squirrel?»

The squirrel replied, «I gather acorns, Benny! I collect them to have yummy food for the winter when the snow falls.»

Benny’s eyes widened in amazement. He watched as the squirrel scurried around, picking up acorns and tucking them into little hiding spots in the ground.

«Wow!» exclaimed Benny. «That’s so clever, dear squirrel! You save your acorns for later. I will remember that.»

The squirrel smiled. «If you ever need a snack in winter, Benny, come find me. I’ll share some of my acorns with you.»
