The freedom of green hearts

The author has been haunted since childhood by the bewilderment she felt at how adults treated and abused her. She was certain from an early age that God could never have wanted this. Despite all the silence, denial, and threats from adults, she never stopped searching for truth and justice. On her own, she builds a life for herself in which she surpasses herself as a nurse. But the deep inner wounds cannot be ignored in the long run, and only a mixture of deep faith, refreshing humor, and genuine compassion allows her to not lose hope for a better life through all the crises, breakdowns, and new beginnings.
