Time and the Gods

"Time and the Gods" is the second book by Irish fantasy writer Lord Dunsany, considered a major influence on the work of J. R. R. Tolkien and other prominent phantasy writers. It presents a series of short stories about a pantheon of deities who dwell in the imaginary world Pegāna. The collection was preceded by an earlier collection, «The Gods of Pegāna,» followed by some stories in «The Sword of Welleran and Other Stories.»
