"Geoffrey Strong" by Laura Elizabeth Howe Richards follows the titular character as he takes over as a town doctor. Through settling in and finding his lodgings, Richard's character Geoffrey manages to stumble into a feminist tale that is all too familiar for the time. Part medical drama, part small-town charm, and part empowerment, this book is truly a treasure that deserves to be read.
