Napoleon and the Queen of Prussia

This is a historical novel about the story of Napoleon and the Queen of Prussia. It is Interesting from a historical perspective seeing the author Muhlbach's own desire for a united Germany reflected in the thoughts and actions of her characters. Muhlbach's charm in her other books lay in her ability to frame the life of a historical figure with smaller stories from side-characters, all the while careful not to try to cram too many historical anecdotes into a single novel.
