This work goes into detail about the plan of salvation. It is the plan God created to save, redeem, and upgrade humankind through the atonement of Jesus Christ. It is the fulness of the gospel and includes all the rules and doctrines of the gospel necessary to gain eternal life. The plan consists of the Creation, the Fall, and the Atonement of Jesus Christ. The ability to decide and work for oneself is also essential in this plan. Joseph Fielding Smith has explained the subject in simple and comprehensible language for everyone to get well acquainted with it. Smith was an American religious leader and writer who served as the tenth president of the LDS Church from 1970 until he died in 1972.
