Contact with the organic spaceship is successful. Alethea is picked up by the starship Paurusheya in the Omega Centauri star cluster. She still thinks that she will find Sigurd again in the Earth system of the year 2269. Almost a year has passed since the two of them crashed through the black hole. In the Honduran rainforest in the La Mosquitia region, the giant statue of the monkey god comes to life. The figure is made of primordial Xxiin. Nobody notices how the ship Paurusheya, buried under the Teide-Pico Viejo volcano in Tenerife, receives a telepathic-magical impulse via the figure, whose corpus still has a residual amount of 'magical energy'.
