About the book
Rudolfje, Pietertje, and Hubertusje are three enterprising brothers. They are a little stubborn, but their hearts are in the right place. They are also curious. This has gotten them into trouble before—in the first part of this series—and it happens again in this second part.
They are now back in Bommerig, a hamlet above Mechelen, in the summer of 1941: the three boys, together with their friend, the Jewish girl Jacky, and a small, funny white dog. Unfortunately for the children – war or no war – they also have to go back to the small village school where they are all in the same class, despite being of different ages.
Rudolfje, Pietertje, and Hubertusje discover that the new schoolmaster has a secret, but is everything really as it seems?
