The following book covers the history of Marie Louise I's life. She was an Austrian archduchess who reigned as Duchess of Parma, and was Napoleon Bonaparte's second wife. As such, she was Empress of the French and Queen of Italy from their marriage until his abdication. The book focuses mostly on what happened to her after Napoleon's banishment to the island of Elba.
