Book description

'Red Saunders: His Adventures West & East' is a novel written by Henry Wallace Phillips. The story begins with two men, who are at a cabin near a lake, with one braiding a leather hat band outside and the other rolling cigarettes inside. The man inside is given advice on which type of paper to use for his cigarettes. He had met some friends earlier and drank, and was feeling good on his way home. However, he was stopped by a soldier and became angry, exchanging insults with him. The soldier was respectful because he had been thrown out of a dance hall by a cowboy, which made him respect the cowboy profession.
