Harriet Beech in the book «Poganuc People: Their Loves and Lives» centered this book around her growing up in Litchfield Connecticut. A story set in a village called Poganuc, describes the beautiful lifestyle of the people, their views on various aspects of life from religion through politics. This book also describes the beautiful scenery of the geography of a small Puritanical New England town in the 1900s.
