Soulmates

Anima and Aldrah are soulmates.

Anima is a young, experienced South African lawyer who is completing her postgraduate studies in a large city on the French Mediterranean coast.

Aldrah, who is much older than her, has been practicing as an anesthesiologist in a private clinic in the same city for a long time.

Their paths cross when Anima finds herself with an unwanted pregnancy and wants to have an abortion under general anesthesia, and by chance comes across Aldrah as the anesthesiologist.

However, will the soulmate connection they discover survive this procedure, which is extremely stressful for Anima psychologically, as an abortion is for her and probably for every woman?
