Foreign Policy of Turkmenistan in the Late XX – Early XXI Centuries

The author analyzes the foreign policy of Turkmenistan in conditions of independence, the role of neutrality in the foreign policy of Turkmenistan, the country’s participation in international relations both in the region and with non-CIS states. Turkmenistan’s relations within the framework of international organizations, integrations and bilateral cooperation with actors of international relations are also considered. The paper considers the evolution of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy concept.
