About the book

"Trail's End" by George W. Ogden

Seth Craddock, a man with questionable morals, takes on the role of marshall in lawless Ascalon, Kansas. The days of anarchy and western chaos are numbered for this small cowboy town, however. Shortly after Calvin Morgan also arrives, to grow wheat on the bone-strewn prairie, good only for cattle up to that point. He soon attracts the enmity of Craddock and his outlaw cohorts.
