About the book

"Antinous: A Poem" is a poetic work by the famous Portuguese poet and writer Fernando Pessoa. The historical Antinous was a beloved of the Roman emperor Hadrian. After Antinous died, Hadrian became obsessed with Antinous, and he started surrounding himself with his images and built the city of Annapolis in his honor.
