The Black Poodle, and Other Tales

"The Black Poodle, and Other Tales" is a collection of short stories written by F. Anstey. The tales are mostly children's tales with a sense of humour to them. The title story, «The Black Poodle» for instance is a comical tale of a man whose careless mistake leads him to be accused of the theft of his neighbor's dog. Other tales included are: «The Story of a Sugar Prince», «The Return of Agamemnon», «The Wraith of Barnjum», «A Toy Tragedy», and «An Undergraduate's Aunt.»
