Written by Elisha Noyce in 1859, Outlines of Creation is a great attempt to give the reader a concise and comprehensible explanation of the whole Creation without adding all the tiny microscopic details on any of the subjects. The work aimed at creating in the younger generation people a taste for knowledge and a passion for entering into any or all of the topics this work covers and pursuing them in a more detailed manner. The work tries to not only entertain but also educate the young. Noyce covers a great number of topics ranging from the vast and complex Solar System to the very tiny ants.
