Mr. Justice Maxell

"Mr. Justice Maxell" is a 1922 thriller by the famous British writer Edgar Wallace. Like several of his books, the story is partly set in Morocco, where Wallace had previously worked as a journalist. It is a story of a judge that puts his friend in jail for a long sentence. After a long time, the former friend returns to revenge.
