The Railway Children

"The Railway Children" is a children's book by Edith Nesbit. The novel tells of the adventures of three children whose father gets into prison for a crime he never committed. The children, Roberta (nicknamed «Bobbie»), Peter, and Phyllis, befriend an old gentleman, who eventually promises them to help prove their father's innocence.
