"Obstetrics for Nurses" by Charles B. Reed is one of the first leading medical texts in the obstetrics field, one that has undergone many changes over the years. Meant to be an educational tool for nurses in order to allow them to be able to provide the best possible care to expecting mothers, this book covers everything from breathing to sanitary practices. While it's no longer considered the gold-standard for obstetric nursing education, it's still an insightful text with surprisingly relevant information.
