Putting the Most Into Life

The chapters that are written in this book are primarily intended for an African-American audience, as written by Booker T. Washington, who between 1890 and 1915, was the dominant leader in the African-American community and of the contemporary black elite. Here, he lays out his ideas of what he meant by putting the most into life – from living a healthy one and being well-educated enough to enjoy the fruits of labor that any person fully deserves to have from their employer.
