Lair of the Snake Girl

"Lair of the Snake Girl" is a mystery horror novel by Arthur Leo Zagat, an American writer of Jewish origin. The story's plot is an artistic interpretation of an ancient Judaic legend about Lilith, the first wife of Adam, who supposedly turned to sin and was banished from the Garden of Eden for not complying with and obeying Adam. In «Lair of the Snake Girl,» Lilith is represented by the figure of Lilla – the beautiful girl from the city of Eden. The town is terrified by mysterious killings, possibly done by the creature the natives called «the Serpent.»
