Once upon a time, there lived Little Button. She was a red, round one, on a very cute short-sleeved shirt, white with a blue and red check. Of course, she didn’t live alone – she had five brothers and sisters – but our Little Button stood out for her courage, curiosity, and interest in everything and everyone. If she had a nose, it would definitely get stuck somewhere. Why am I saying this? Oh, yes.

Every day, Little Button went on a journey with the sweet toddler whose mom and dad dressed him in the beautiful shirt. Little Button had been everywhere: she had seen the endless blue sky and the fluffy white clouds, and she constantly felt the touch of a Merry Breeze, who also seemed very interested in the world around him, strolling among the tall trees.

At first, the trees were green, rustling and talking among themselves, discussing the events of each day: here a siskin flew in and announced to everyone that it would rain soon; here a dad teaches restless children – a boy and a girl, about the same height, only the boy is dark-haired and the girl is red-haired and has cheerful freckles – to roller-skate; here a curly gray poodle jumps on its owner, a curly, completely gray-haired grandma in a pink cardigan, inviting her to play.
