A Family Saga or Family Story novel chronicles the life of a family or multiple generations in this book. The stories are often set in history, with the ups and downs of riches and generational conflicts wrapped in humor providing appeal. Poor White by Sherwood Anderson is one example. Agnes Repplier, an American essayist, published this collection of essays in 1892. The number of essayists from all around the world and throughout history is just astounding.
