Татьяна Василенко

This book is the first specialized edition in Russia devoted entirely to the exterior of the breed and its evaluation. The author — judge of the exterior RKF-FCI, Honored Cynolo-gist of RKF, breeder of Chinese Crested Dogs ("Ksolo Club" Kennel) Tatiana Vasilenko — combines in it three layers: the breeds origin in light of modern genetics (the FOXI3 gene, two variants — one breed), the documentary history of the breeds recognition worldwide and its establishment in Russia — and, most importantly, an article-by-article commentary to the current FCI Standard No. 288 with the Cynological Index System and visual references for evaluation. For judges, breeders and owners.

The book Exterior of the Chinese Crested Dog and its Evaluation reflects the authors view and may serve as a guide for a deeper study of the breed and as a support in evaluating the exterior taking into account breed features — for both current judges and as a practical tool for breeders in targeted selection.
