About the book

Alexander Morley had been wrongly jailed for murder but later acquitted. Meanwhile Mr. Freeman is the well-known story teller who is referred to as the conjuror because of his mysterious powers. When a ship is wrecked on the coast near the village, Fredrick goes to see 'the conjuror' to enquire the fate of his brother who had been expected to arrive at any day…
